Heavenly Father, loving and merciful God, we worship and adore You. In faith, we come before You asking for mercy and forgiveness for our sins against You and Your creation.
In this time of anxiety and distress, we lift up to You the COVID-19 situation throughout the world. Abba Father, we beg You to halt the spread of this disease and to grant healing and comfort to those afflicted. Please cover everyone with the Precious Blood of Your Son, Jesus and protect all of us, especially those in the medical field, from any infection and harm.

Prayer For ANZAC Day (Saturday 25th April)
Gracious and loving God,
As we mark ANZAC Day, we remember all who lost their lives through Australia’s
involvement in wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations.
On ANZAC Day, we especially remember the courageous actions undertaken by the
Australian and New Zealand Army Corps during the First World War.
On this national day of commemoration, we pray for the airmen, sailors and soldiers
who died in battle, sacrificing their lives while on duty.
We commemorate their bravery and pray for the families who lost loved ones.
As we strive for peace in our country and world, help us to become instruments of
your peace.
We ask this prayer through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Hail Mary
Hail Mary, Full of Grace, The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now, and at the hour of death.
Amen.

The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those, who have trespassed against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

The Nicene Creed
I believe in one God,
      the Father almighty,
      the maker of heaven and earth,
      of all things visible and invisible.

I believe one Lord Jesus Christ,
      the only Son of God,
      begotten from the Father before all ages,
           God from God,
           Light from Light,
           true God from true God,
      begotten, not made;
      of the consubstantial with the Father.
      Through Him, all things were made.

(All Bow for the next two lines)
     For our salvation
           he came down from heaven;
           he became incarnate by the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary,
           and was made human.
           He was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate;
           he suffered and was buried.
           The third day he rose again, according to the Scriptures.
           He ascended to heaven
           and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
           He will come again with glory
           to judge the living and the dead.
           His kingdom will never end.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
      the Lord, the giver of life.
      Who proceeds from the Father and the Son,
      and with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified.
    Who spoke through the prophets.
  I believe in one holy catholic and apostolic church.
      I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
      and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead,
      and life of the world to come.
Amen

The Apostles Creed
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth;
and in Jesus Christ, His only Son Our Lord,
Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended into Hell; the third day He rose again from the dead;
He ascended into Heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God, the Father almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and life everlasting.
Amen

The Act of Contrition
O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee, and I detest all my sins because of Thy just punishments, but most of all because they offend Thee, my God, Who art all-good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Thy grace, to sin no more and to avoid the near occasions of sin.
Amen

Our Father
Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

The Magnificat

My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord,
my spirit rejoices in God my Savior
for he has looked with favor on his lowly servant.
From this day all generations will call me blessed:
the Almighty has done great things for me,
and holy is his Name.

He has mercy on those who fear him
in every generation.
He has shown the strength of his arm,
he has scattered the proud in their conceit.

He has cast down the mighty from their thrones,
and has lifted up the lowly.
He has filled the hungry with good things,
and the rich he has sent away empty.

He has come to the help of his servant Israel
for he remembered his promise of mercy,
the promise he made to our fathers,
to Abraham and his children forever.

Amen
